Mattias Käll investigates relationships with nature and other people. How is our empathy affected by closeness to others in time and space? How do we mend the relationship between nature and each other? Many of his projects is based on the impact of our consumption on people, the climate and nature. Year-long works and projects on food waste, packaging plastic and fast fashion, where research and conversation are an important part of his process – merging art and research fields. Something abstract taking physical form in photographic series, film, objects, installations, and performance.
