Reza Kianpour

Born in Tehran in 1983, Reza Kianpour arrived in Luxembourg at the age of nine. From 2003 to 2009, he studied visual arts at École de Recherche Graphique and product design at Académie Royale des Beaux-Arts de Bruxelles before starting his career as a designer in 2010. Through a versatile work he explores numerous subjects and concepts.
His project Never Lose Again was specially designed for this biennial. It is a conceptual and humorous sculpture about the way our societies view success. It was created to be placed in a public space where it accentuates the idea we have of accomplishment in society and in life in general; raising the question of what we value as a community.
