Susanne Schmidt-Nielsen

I am curious of how we people are shaped and formed - of how our understanding of ourselves has become, how interaction with others and the impact of the culture we are a part of, is shaping our mindset. Curious of how this influences the path we take.
It is from these thoughts on existential and cultural considerations, my artwork grows. I think of my artwork as depictions and physical representations of these processes, and as abstract stories, where the story is imbedded as a sensuous indication.
I focus on process, presence and dialogue, as it is in the dialogue, viewer-space-work, that the piece unfolds.
