I am a Little Nervous Towards a World that is Hidden

In 2005, Chi Peng graduated with a degree in photography and digital media from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing. He currently lives and works in Beijing. This photography installation is a new work from this year. In it, mirrors are vehicles for photographs, representing an attempt to recover the earliest methods of photography and draw the viewer into the fictional world inside the mirror. The closet is as a metaphor for identity, which allows embarrassing, vague feelings to challenge ambiguous sexual ethics and confusing moral constraints through a mixture of rebelliousness and compliance. Perhaps this metaphor is based on observations about himself or people in the real world, but his works require you to note the relationships between them, and find their projections in emotional psychology. The critical points in these series show the numerous conflicts and uncertainties in reality that we cannot grasp.
